How the Palworld Breeding Calculator Works

This Palworld breeding calculator helps you find the shortest breeding path from the Pals you already own to the Pal you want to unlock. Pick up to 20 Pals, set a target, and get a step-by-step route. The engine uses Palworld 1.0 breeding ranks — old 2024 calculators can return wrong results — and checks special parent combinations before the rank-average formula.

Share results with a stable link (?own=...&target=...) and open any Pal's breeding page for the full parent table. See also the Breeding Guide and 1.0 Changes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Palworld Breeding Calculator work?

The calculator uses a breadth-first search over breeding outcomes to find the shortest known path from the Pals you already own to the target Pal you want to breed.

What does the 4-step breeding limit mean?

The tool currently searches breeding chains up to four steps deep. This keeps results fast and useful while still covering common breeding routes for rare and late-game Pals.

Does the calculator include Palworld 1.0 combo changes?

Yes. Data is verified against Palworld 1.0 breeding ranks. Special parent combinations are checked before the rank-average formula, so updated combos return correctly when a known special route exists.

Why might it return no path found?

That usually means your selected starting roster cannot reach the target within depth 4. The result area shows the target's top parent pairs and links to its How to Breed page.

Can I see every parent pair for a Pal?

Yes. Use the Parents Lookup tab or open the Pal's How to Breed page for the full parent table (HTML-first, 20 rows visible, rest expandable).
